Last night, I received the letter from Art Center saying that I was admitted into their undergraduate Transportation Design Program. I couldn't be happier! I've been dreaming of this since a child. I wanted to once again thank all those who supported my dreams, and my journey that has taken me this far, as well as the growing design community that's critiqued and inspired me along the way. I will continue utilize my work ethic to improve my skills for the benefit of my industry, my peers, as well as myself. I can hardly wait, and it's still sinking in. :)

Well, I finished it. Can hardly believe it. Took so very long but it was very fun. I learned of a new way to render quickly and efficiently and learned new painting and presentation techniques. It was a lot of fun. Now I'm trying to develop my eye of proportion for super cars, trucks, etc. First project already underway will be a lamborghini.

Gosh, looking past on the last month and a half, I've spent numerous nights awake, pulling more all nighters, and double-dayers, and even triple-dayers awake, doing not much else than drawing and working on my portfolio. Its due tomorrow and i gotta drive to Art Center to deliver my portfolio to LA. Honestly, I'll be surprised to have the energy to drive all the way down there. Somehow, my health has remained adequate, my tiny macbook air has developed the capability to handle a portfolio more than 6GB worth of work, 24 pages, and my hand is still trying to recover from constant cramping, drawing over more than 14 hours a day many times, often in a row. Looking back, everything seems to happen for a reason, quitting my job, and remaining unemployed during the duration of work created for my portfolio. Needless to say, Its been very fun. I learned new ways to rendering quickly, ways of presenting my sketches quickly and i think I've gotten pretty good at perspective and proportion if i had to say so myself. For the final day, I have over 3 renderings to finish among many other things. Today, is quite possibly one of the biggest days of my life, as the tireless pursuit of gathering a entirely new portfolio has taken is tole and has come to fruition.  My portfolio will be uploaded either tomorrow or the following day. I hope you enjoy it!

Well, sketches for the S16, interior, exterior, as well as 3 final renderings are finally done. Now recreating the EMT Dune buggy project I created back in 2009. Seems like one of the biggest, most ambitious projects i've ver undertaken (Recreation of my portfolio) but it will definately be worth it if i get accepted into Art Center College of Design Now for another energy drink for many hundreds of hours of work left within this next month. Really wishing I had a Wacom Cintiq Display screen.

Yesterday I drove down to Art Center to get a good critique on my portfolio. I got many different critiques from my drawing to portfolio setup, to concept and visualization as well as the way I look at Car design as a whole. She gave me a book written by a few of the alumni at Art Center called "The Car in 2035" which describes ideas and cues about where they feel a majority of the auto industry is headed until then. It boils down to a complete reconstruction of my past work, new sketches, new renderings, new layouts, thoughts, concepts and research. Very inspiring to say the least. Ill be applying for the 2014-15 year. Wish me luck!
